Maccabi House: A Taste of Tel Aviv’s Techno

House and techno music have transcended the geographical boundaries of language is a movement that needs no explaining. Electronic music is the language that every culture around the world can speak, understand, and move to. If something is good and makes us groove, the world will know.

One part of the world that especially understands the language of electronic music, is Israel.

There are a multitude of talented artists that were born and raised in Israel and there just so happens to be something so compelling about the music these artists produce. Some artists with Israeli roots that have their music circulating around the world are Adam Ten, Yamagucci, Dor Danino, Mita Gami, Guy Gerber, Joezi, ASHER SWISSA, REBRN, Rafael, and Jacob (IL). This label is meant to push artists to express and expand their unique music boundaries to their utmost originality.

Some artists' that are featured in Maccabi House, have had their music featured and played by some of the biggest names in the electronic music community. Black Coffee, Solomun, FISHER, and even John Summit have featured some of their tracks in their sets. For one, Rafael came out with a remix of the classic ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’ and was played by John Summit. Even FISHER featured one of Jacob (IL)’s tracks, ‘Look Back’, in one of his sets in Miami a couple months back. Another DJ, Dvir Halperin, has recently released a fresh and funky electronic edit to the iconic NBA buzzer sound. This edit features an addicting beat and knows how to get the crowd riled up.

The seemingly small location that is Tel Aviv clearly carries a large amount of electrifying house and techno music that is spreading like wildfire all around the world. Although Maccabi House is somewhat new, in no time will its name infiltrate other parts of the world. Good electronic music does the talking on its own.
