Framework, one of the world’s leading independent purveyors of underground music experiences, will bring a tour-de-force of house and techno to Los Angeles this summer.

The LA-based event production will continue showcasing expertly-curated lineups at various locations across the city, hosting headlining performances from celebrated selectors like Duke Dumont, Nora En Pure, Hot Since 82, Francis Mercier and more.

Framework’s summer schedule kicked off last weekend with Framework Presents Solomun, which saw the underground kingpin Solomun perform a genre-spanning, 6-hour set in Exposition Park. Framework backdropped the marathon performance with one of their most elaborate stage designs yet: a massive, custom-built replica power plant replete with detailed projection mapping, pyro, and Tesla coils shooting out lightning bolts.

Later this month, Framework will bring Haitian house music DJ/producer Francis Mercier to LA’s Chinatown district for a special set at Gin Ling Way.

Taking place on Saturday, June 29, Framework Presents Francis Mercier represents the next chapter in a close-knit relationship between Framework and the highly touted afro-house DJ. Kobi Danan, one of Framework’s founders, takes pride in championing artists early on and helping facilitate their growth. Mercier is a perfect example of Danan’s hands-on artist development; Mercier’s sold-out performances at Sound Nightclub in 2022 and 2023 paved the way for Danan to book his headlining set at Gin Ling Way, which will mark his biggest Framework play to date. Framework Presents Francis Mercier wll feature support from Orso - the duo of Stryv (the co-producer behind the unreleased viral track “Move” with Adam Port) & Twitch co-founder Justin Kan - as well as Samson b2b Sauaro.

Next month, Framework will team up with Goldenvoice for Duke Dumont All Night Long (Warehouse Edition), which is already sold out.

Taking place Saturday, July 13, the show will mark the debut live concert experience at the legendary Red Studios Hollywood, with Framework transforming the 100+ year-old treasure of cinematic history into a bonafide dancefloor for the very first time in the venue’s history.

Located in the heart of Hollywood, Red Studios is one of one of Hollywood's premier boutique studio spaces, and has remained the ideal location for filmmakers and producers dating back from the silent film era in the 1920s to the award-winning pictures of today.

On the upcoming Duke Dumont All Night Long (Warehouse Edition), Framework co-founder Kobi Danan says, “At Framework, we like to transform gems across Los Angeles into unforgettable experiences. Red Studios isn't just a venue, it's a century of cinematic history located in our backyard, Hollywood. Presenting Duke Dumont with Goldenvoice will be the perfect way to debut this new historic venue space.

Closing out July with a bang, Framework will return to Exposition Park’s Expo Lawn West on Saturday, July 30 for Anjunadeep Open Air Los Angeles. Marking the first-ever collaboration between Framework and the Above & Beyond-imprint Anjunadeep, Anjunadeep Open Air Los Angeles will feature a stirring marathon of deep-house soundscapes headlined by San Francisco-bred producer Luttrell, with support from CRi (DJ Set), Nicky Elisabeth, Romain Garcia, and Qrion - all making their Framework-branded debuts.

On the upcoming Anjunadeep Open Air Los Angeles, Framework’s director of talent Mark Andrezyk says, “After years of wanting to collaborate on a larger event, the timing finally came together for Anjunadeep and Framework. Witnessing each other's growth over the years has been inspiring, and the fan response has been positive. We're thrilled to culminate this journey with an unmissable event at Exposition Park on July 20th. Here's to the next chapter."

Then on Saturday, August 10, Framework will return to Expo Lawn West for Knee Deep In Los Angeles, which will commemorate the long-standing collaboration between Framework and renowned UK DJ/producer Hot Since 82. Headlined by Hot Since 82 with support from PRUNK and Ky William, Knee Deep In Los Angeles will follow previous Framework x Hot Since 82 events at Pershing Square, Sound Nightclub, and West 5th Street.

On the event, Kobi Danan says, “Our collaboration with Hot Since 82 has been incredibly rewarding. We've developed a strong partnership, having presented him in a variety of settings – from intimate, phone-free “secret” locations to headline performances at Sound Nightclub to Pershing Square. Now, this year we are at Expo Lawn West, and are excited to continue the evolution of Knee Deep in Los Angeles.”

To wrap up its stacked summer of events, Framework will host deep house icon Nora En Pure and her Purified brand for Nora En Pure Presents Purified at Expo Lawn West. Taking place on Sunday, August 11, Nora En Pure Presents Purified will be Framework’s first official collaboration with the Purified brand (though Nora En Pure has played Framework’s Sound Nightclub a handful of times over the past several years). Concluding the summer with idyllic underground sounds, the event will be headlined by Nora En Pure with support from Justin Martin, Worakls, Jono Stephenson, and Tim Enso.

In addition to Framework’s assortment of summer events, later this month Sound Nightclub (owned and operated by Framework) will team up with AC Slater’s Night Bass label to produce Night Bass City - Los Angeles Block Party, which will make history as the first electronic music event to shut down LA’s iconic Las Palmas Avenue.

Taking place Saturday, June 15, the event will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Night Bass imprint, which threw its inaugural party at Sound Nightclub ten years ago - a seismic moment that’s helped shape the last decade of LA’s underground music culture.

Night Bass City - Los Angeles Block Party will serve up six hours of bass-fueled performances, anchored by a headlining set from label boss AC Slater. The open-air soiree will also feature a diverse roster of talent such as Kaleena Zanders & Young Lyxx (who will join AC Slater on stage), BIJOU playing b2b with a surprise guest, Flava D b2b Taiki Nulight, another surprise guest playing b2b with Hans Glader, Petey Clicks b2b Reece Rosé, and other unannounced selectors. In addition to musical performances, attendees can explore the curated merchandise shop, taste bites from a variety of food vendors, or take a breather inside of Sound Nightclub, which will be open for patrons to cool down, with access to the bar and bathrooms.

Founded in 2013, Framework has hosted upwards of 200 artists and 1.1 million guests across 35 venues internationally, becoming the principal consultant, talent buyer, and event producer for businesses and brands looking to present novel nightlife experiences to their markets.

In addition to owning and operating Sound, Framework’s dynamic portfolio includes successful endeavors such as opening the newly-minted The Spotlight; producing Wynn Las Vegas’ bi-annual Art Of The Wild festival; hosting the annual Coachella afterparty Framework In The Desert; and making history by shutting down Hollywood Blvd for Fisher and Chris Lake’s “Under Construction” bonanza.

Stay tuned for more announcements on upcoming Framework summer events.
