KAYTRANADA

Kaytranada is the stage name of Louis Kevin Celestin, a Canadian electronic music producer and DJ. Kaytranada is known for his unique and eclectic blend of electronic, hip-hop, and dance music, which has earned him all the fame and praise an artist could only ever dream of… and of course a dedicated fan base. 

Kaytranada is not your average DJ whose music focuses heavily on just electronic music. His production and music style veers off from the typical electronic or house music DJ, in that he is notorious for genre-burring. His music successfully meshes diverse sounds including and ranging from elements of electronic, R&B, funk, soul, and hip-hop. His tracks often feature smooth, groovy beats and infectious rhythms.

Kaytranada has featured some sensational artists delivering incredible vocals, such as H.E.R, Kali Uchis, Tinashe, VanJess, Estelle, AlunaGeorge, VIC MENSA, and many more. Kaytranada's intelligent addition of vocals enhances his music that much more. Not only does Kaytranda have an immaculate ear for a good pulsating beat, but he knows exactly which and whose vocals will complete a track to its perfection. 

He is also well-known for his remixes of tracks by various famous artists, revamping songs with his signature sound. Amine 

Amine, Adam Amine Daniel, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Amine gained recognition for his unique style, witty lyrics, and genre-blending music that incorporates elements of hip-hop, R&B, and pop. 

Most of us likely recognize Amine when he first rose to prominence with his hit single "Caroline" back in 2016. The song's catchy melody and clever wordplay earned him widespread attention and radio play.

In 2017, he released his debut album, "Good for You," which featured a mix of hip-hop and R&B tracks. The album received positive reviews and truly showcased his versatility and artistic abilities. 

Amine's music is known for its diversity (similar to Kaytranada). He seamlessly blends various musical influences, from trap and funk to pop and soul, resulting in a sound that defies being labeled as a “basic” genre.

These two together have done nothing other than woo the hell out of their fan base. We guess you can say, it’s KAYTRAMINE’s world and we are just living in it…

The music produced by these two is a masterful mingling of electronic, hip-hop, and rap elements. Kaytra’s beats provide a blend of pulsating synths, intricate rhythms, and melodic hooks that create a hypnotic and dance-inducing backdrop for Amine’s lyrical prowess.

The two first released their single together, “Rebuke” in May of 2023. This track felt and sounded like a dreamy blend with just the right amount of sugar, spice, and everything nice.  After all the positive feedback the duo received, they released their album as a duo, “KAYTRAMINE”.

This album truly took us on a journey veering in and out of the various soundscapes and possibilities showcasing their talents. The album incorporates the perfect amount of rap to cater to the hip-hop/R&B lovers and the perfect amount of electronic influence to keep the house music lovers engaged.
