Francis Mercier has been living by the seat of his pants, playing music all over the world with no sign of stopping. Now, it’s New York's turn. 

Francis just announced his upcoming performance this Friday, September 15th in New York City. He will be playing at one of Manhattan’s biggest house music venues, Musica. 

But this time, Francis announced he will be donating 25% of all ticketing revenue from his show at Musica this weekend in light of the recent tragedy that happened in Morocco. 

Mercier is donating the funds to Banque Alimentaire, which is a non-profit organization aimed to share, give, volunteer, and fight against food waste. The mission of the Food Bank is to collect food from various donors and redistribute to populations in need. 

The mission and goals of this organization cannot and would not be met without the help of outside donors and volunteers. Just as food is a necessity, so is the assistance from others in order to keep the organization up and running. 

After what happened in Morocco, the people are in dire need of assistance and Mercier stepped right in. Mercier explained that he had been fortunate enough to perform in Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, and Findeq over the past few years and he always had the best time.

Mercier is known for his vibrant music, personality, and energy. But to see Mercier utilizing his music influence to do something so amazing and charitable is truly admirable. Music's ability to bring people together is beautiful on its own, but when we see artists doing something more, it only enhances the adoration we have for our favorite artists.
