Electric Zoo Announces: MEGAFOX
Electric Zoo Hyperspace, one of the most eagerly awaited festivals of the year, returns to New York City's Randall's Island Park this Labor Day weekend. Electric Zoo just announced the curated stage: MEGAFOX, a collaborative effort between Cityfox and Gray Area presenting an immersive journey into the realms of melodic house, tech house, and techno.
The MEGAFOX lineup features an array of top-notch performers, including DJ Skream, Camelphat, Desert Hearts Crew, Stephan Bodzin, Matador, Recondite, Sam Divine, Francis Mercier, Massano, Andhim, and Brina Knauss, each contributing their unique styles and sounds to create a distinguished sonic tapestry.
Electric Zoo Hyperspace continues to be one of the most anticipated and, as Elle recently shared, “electrifying” festivals of the year returning to Randall’s Island Park in New York City this Labor Day weekend.
Today, they are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the exhilarating Cityfox x Gray Area curated stage: MEGAFOX. This collaboration presents a festival within a festival as Cityfox and Gray Area join forces to curate an immersive journey into the sounds of melodic house, tech house, and techno like never before at Electric Zoo’s brand new MegaMirage stage and their 2022 minted Morphosis stage.
Cityfox, renowned for their rich history spanning over a decade, has become synonymous with enthralling events and unforgettable moments at iconic venues such as Avant Gardner and Brooklyn Mirage. The New Yorker adds that it has “regularly thrown opulent, outsized events with generous lineups, laser shows, and sparkling décor.” Gray Area is known for curating events that reveal new and exciting talent to dancers across the planet. Gray Area exposes the connective tissue between sub-genres and sub-cultures, consistently offering NYC a wide variety of the finest electronic artists in the world with a mission that Forbes noted “to unite people on the dancefloor.” Between the heavyweight underground lineups of Cityfox, combined with the eclectic taste of Gray Area, promise to create a sonic adventure that transcends the typical festival experience.

The lineup is a powerhouse of top-notch performers, boasting favorites such as legendary DJ Skream as well as Camelphat who share “we can't wait to come back to New York…it's a special place for us and even more special that we are playing on the City Fox stage at Electric Zoo ... .Don't miss out!”. Joining in on the fun will be the boisterous Desert Hearts Crew who are truly the life of any party.
MEGAFOX additionally offers fans the chance to catch rare US live sets from globally renowned artists Stephan Bodzin, Matador, and Recondite who adds that “it is always a great opportunity to explore the gray area between techno, underground and EDM. I'm happy to be part of ELECTRIC ZOO NY to do exactly that.”
Enigmatic UK sensation Sam Divine will be lighting up the stage with her “pure, unadulterated house music” that has earned the love of fans all over the world. Francis Mercier continues to be one of the most buzzing acts around, promising to mesmerize fans with his smooth house grooves. Massano, who has been heavily championed by Tale of Us, will take the stage, sharing his excitement saying “after the insane energy at my sold out NYC debut show in May, I’m so excited to come back to the city Labor Day weekend to perform at such a special festival, the world-renowned, Electric Zoo!”
Pioneering acts Andhim & Brina Knauss add even more depth to this lineup, each showcasing stunning melodic compositions and cutting-edge sounds to weave a truly special and distinguished sonic tapestry. Brina explains that “I’m happy and excited to play for the first time at the Electric Zoo Festival, an iconic Festival for the electronic scene not only in NY but in the whole of the US!”
The lineup for Electric Zoo boasts an array of celebrated artists, featuring performances and exciting collaborations from Kx5, Zedd, HI-LO, Major Lazer, Alison Wonderland, FISHER, John Summit, Boogie T, Dubfire, The Blessed Madonna, Griz, Mary Droppinz, and plenty more.
Additional curated stages include the world debut of “Everything Always” by John Summit & Dom Dolla, festival debut of Chris Lake & FISHER’s explosive brand ‘Under Construction’, Liquid Stranger presents: Wakaan Takeover, Nora En Pure’s ‘Purified’ Stage, and the inaugural LGBTQ stage Dreamland, presented by Jake Resnicow.
