Chris Lake to Bring Black Book Records Showcase to Brooklyn Army Terminal

The summer heat is already brewing, and it's about to reach scorching levels in NYC. So hot, in fact, you might find yourself wanting to take a plunge into the nearest body of water — but we're not talking about the Hudson River here, we’re talking about the LAKE. Mark your calendars because Chris Lake is set to ignite the Brooklyn with a special two-day event at the historic Brooklyn Army Terminal. Scheduled for July 19 and 20, 2024, the showcase will feature a stellar lineup of electronic music talent against the backdrop of the city's industrial waterfront.

Headlining the event is none other than Chris Lake himself, the driving force behind Black Book Records. Since its inception in 2016, Black Book Records has been a platform for Lake's own chart-topping hits such as 'Turn off the Lights' and 'Beggin', as well as for emerging talents in the genre.

Day 1 of the event promises a special treat for fans as Chris Lake is joined by Chris Lorenzo, his partner in the electrifying duo Anti Up. When you put Lake and Lorenzo on the same deck, magic happens. Known for their infectious energy and dynamic performances like at Coachella this past month, the fans are hoping for some more Anti Up. These two have released "The Weekend" and "Control the Media," just this month only, with more tracks on the way. Although they are not expected to be preforming as Anti Up, there is a high chance of a B2B July 19th.

Day 2 will see the legendary Green Velvet taking the stage. Renowned for his groovy tunes and innovative sound, Green Velvet is expected to deliver a performance to remember. Rumors of a collaboration between Lake and Green Velvet, including a potential Chris Lake remix of the classic track "Percolator" and their prior collaboration "Deceiver," have further heightened anticipation for the event.

Fueled by EMW Presents, known for their commitment to delivering top-notch production and immersive experiences, the Black Book showcase promises to push the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from electronic music events. With a lineup boasting amazing fresh talent such as Harry Romero, Book Club Radio’s Jojo Lorenzo, Andruss, and Cole Knight, attendees can anticipate an unforgettable fusion of warehouse vibes and summer soirée.

The historic Brooklyn Army Terminal, with its unobstructed waterfront views and industrial charm, provides the perfect setting for this musical spectacle. Located in the Sunset Park neighborhood, the venue's outdoor space and raw warehouse setting offer a unique canvas for artists to showcase their talents.

Pre-sale tickets for Chris Lake: Black Book on the Pier will be available starting April 16 at 12pm EST, with general ticket sales opening on April 17 at 12pm EST. Fans eager to experience this one-of-a-kind event can secure their tickets via blackbook.nyc. Please note that this is a 21+ event.
