Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo Announce New Anti Up Album, Dropping October 11th

House music fans, buckle up—Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo, the powerhouse duo behind Anti Up, have just sent shockwaves through the scene. After teasing fans with unreleased tracks all summer long, the pair have officially announced a brand-new album, set to drop on October 11th. The news came straight from Chris Lake himself, who took the mic during their Atlanta show to share the release date with eager fans.

The excitement around the album has been building since their mind-blowing Anti Up set at Coachella earlier this year, where fans were treated to a slew of unreleased tracks, or “IDs.” Some of these resurfaced in July during their Black Book on the Pier concert in New York City, where Lake closed out the show with the album's outro track, “Holding On (Outro).” The summer has been full of cryptic clues, with fans piecing together the upcoming tracklist from live performances and sneak previews.

Among the confirmed tracks are “Do You Know Where Your Children Are?” and “What Is Life?,” both of which debuted during their Coachella set. Another track, “Shambles,” has also been stirring up buzz. The duo’s sound on this record is shaping up to be something fresh and genre-blurring. House music purists will still recognize the rhythmic roots, but with experimental touches like guitar riffs, industrial sound effects, and even train engine ‘choo choos,’ Anti Up seems to be venturing into a space some are calling punk house.

The buzz surrounding Anti Up has been growing all year, and with the release date now locked in, the anticipation is at an all-time high. One thing’s for sure—Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo are pushing boundaries, and we’re here for it. Congrats, mates—October 11th can’t come soon enough!
