Black Book Records: The Hub for Hot New House Music

The genius Chris Lake is not only a legend for the music he makes, but for the record label he founded, Black Book Records. Black Book Records is a label that epitomizes the cutting edge of modern electronic dance music. 

Chris Lake has been a prominent figure in the house music community for quite a while now. Having been making music for a long time earns an artist the right to found a record label and broadcast other new talent to the world. But not just any old record label, a label that guarantees music that will make you jump out of your seat within the first few seconds of hearing it. 

Because Chris Lake has paved the way for his own career, he is able to confidently showcase novel talent and electronic sounds to the world via his label. Black Book Records has been on a record high releasing heater after heater for the past few years now.

Black Book Records has given recognition to artists like Miane, Ango Tamarin, Sosa UK, HoneyLuv, Pork & Fitch, TOBEHONEST, Joshwa, Walker & Royce, Bruno Furlan, Hank K, Body Ocean, and entire Black BOOK’s worth of honorable mentions beyond these.

Chris Lake is known to be an absolute perfectionist when it comes to his method of production and releases. He expresses that he is extremely particular when it comes to tailoring his music and that he will only release a track that he is confident will make his audience move. Black Book Records is a platform that Lake feels he is able to put out music that his loyal fan base will eat up. Arguably, each and every track featured under Black Book is a perfect display of Lake’s taste in music while simultaneously presenting new artists with unique sounds. 

Beyond these aforementioned artists, we all know and love the new face and sound in the tech house community, Mau P. Mau P has quickly grabbed everyone's attention, including Mr. Lake’s. Mau P is notorious for releasing heater after heater. Just this week, Black Book hinted that Mau P will be releasing a new track under the record label this week “Dress Code”.
